SANTA ROSA, California – June 14, 2023 – Loring Smart Roast, Inc. welcomes experienced business leader Abbie Walther as the company’s new President. Chief Executive Officer Ed Barr had this to say of Walther: “Abbie’s experience will be central to guiding Loring Smart Roast forward through several product developments and new technology innovations currently being crafted.”
Walther comes to Loring from her position as Vice President of Operations Services with Lind Marine. She brings years of operational oversight and manufacturing experience from this role, as well as an additional decade of financial, sales, marketing, and managerial expertise from previous positions with P&L Specialties and Moose Boats.
Walther oversaw the financial and operational development of several production equipment businesses, including manufacturing specialty food and beverage processing equipment. Her leadership enabled those transitions and their successful outcomes.
Of her new position, Walther says, “I am genuinely honored and delighted to return to my manufacturing roots in joining the accomplished team at Loring Smart Roast as we endeavor to expand production to meet an exciting level of demand. I especially enjoy working in a craft industry where opportunities to galvanize team development and refine workflow provide very tangible and gratifying, not to mention tasty, results for customers.”
As Loring continues to expand operations and grow their full-time staff, Walther’s arrival marks an exciting time for the company. Walther will continue the company’s impressive momentum, tightening production timelines and leading the team responsible for the next generation of groundbreaking coffee roasting technology.
