Roast Architect requires a license to activate and operate. 

License Activation Options

Your software offers two types of license activation methods: a Limited Time Trial License and a Purchased License. 

Limited Time Trial License

The Trial License allows users to evaluate the software for a limited period before making a purchase. To activate a trial license:

  1. Click the "Request Trial License" button on the License Activation screen.
  2. The system will automatically generate and apply a temporary license key.
  • Once activated, the software will be fully functional for the duration of the trial period.

Note: Trial licenses are typically limited to one per user or device and require an internet connection for activation.

Purchased License

Users who have purchased a license can activate the full version of the software using their unique license key. To activate a purchased license:

  1. Enter your License Key in the designated input field.
  2. Click the "Activate" button.
  • Upon successful validation, the software will unlock all features for the duration specified by the license terms.

Tip: Ensure you have a stable internet connection during activation, the license requires online verification.


Application Operation with License Authentication

In order to authenticate the user license, Roast Architect must be able to connect to the license server via the intranet. To allow flexibility in the use of the software, once authenticated the license will remain active offline for a period of time. To check the time remaining before Roast Architect must re-authenticate with the license server check the License Management page for the Validity with Grace Period time period.
