This quick guide describes how to access the files on a Loring Roaster directly from Windows File Explorer. This method can be useful for archiving multiple Roast Architect files from a Loring Roaster.


  1. Use the Navigator panel to locate the Loring Roaster connected on a local network
  2. Expand the FILES tree
  3. Right click on a folder or Roast Architect File in the tree 
  4. Click Explore. This will open the Roaster folder location in File Explorer, via a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) connection
  5. From there, files can be added or removed from a Loring Roaster
